It was the first pedicure I have had since September and I don't think Veronica - the nail tech - was impressed with the tiny amount of red I still had left on my two big toes...
Christine and I decided that we would rather spend a few hours together than buy each other gifts for Christmas and I must say that this ranks up there as one of the best decisions of our friendship.
They always say that you make lifelong friends in college... In our case I think it should say "Lifeline" friends. There is no better cure for anything than a talk the phone with a treasured friend. My husband is technically my best friend for more reasons than I could ever list but there is one thing that he will never be - and that is a girlfriend. There are just some things you share with a girlfriend that resonate in ways that they never will with the husband!
SO, yesterday - I had the best day of the year. We laughed. We relaxed. We smiled. We shared. We just hung out and now have fab toes! And, I might say that both of us look at least 10 years younger with our re hydrated facial skin! :0)
Thanks Chris for sharing your day with me... I feel like I can face HOURS upon HOURS of squealing kids, food thrown all over the floor and of course all the sweet smiles and giggles from the Egglets!...
This might just be our PERFECT Christmas gift!

GIRL!!! All mommies should do this a few times a year.
It was the best decision of our friendship...it was a fabulous day and my toes feel wonderful. But the best part of the day was the sharing and laughing, wouldn't trade it for anything!
