I was thinking the other day of all the "trades" I have made to stay home. I have traded a professional life full of power, control and paychecks.... for colorful drawings, smiles and laughter as pay and the quest for some sort of control. I have traded tailored suits, black slacks and the best, latest heels... for t's sprayed with spit-up, jeans and mismatched flip flops. I have traded what I thought was my sense of purpose... for the most rewarding title that I have yet felt I have earned. I have come to learn that the "least" have lent themselves to be the most fulfilling. My life is full now of true defining moments that make me who I am and what I am meant to be.
